Captain Vlad owns and operates a fully licensed and insured fishing charter specializing in catching salmon, trout, and walleye on the waters of Lake Ontario, Lake Erie and Lake Huron.

Vlad is dedicated to providing his guests with unforgettable fishing adventure, making memories, putting smiles on their faces and fish in the boat! Should you wish, your catch will be cleaned and filleted to be cooked and served at the family dinner.

You will be fishing in a 26ft Albemarle 265 Fisherman Express, new for 2025 season! This boat is equipped with a very powerful 375HP Volvo Penta and a 9.9 HP Yamaha kicker.

This boat is fully rigged for big water with latest electronics and it ensures a comfortable fishing experience. For your convenience, there is a small fridge and a washroom on the boat.

The season typically begins late March or early April. We fish Lake Ontario South Shore (Grimsby to Niagara) from SCGFA (St Catharines Game and Fish Association), Port Dalhousie, until approximately late May or early June. 

Everyone fishing with us is automatically registered for SCGFA Spring Salmon Derby and we share all the prizes. We are proud to have won the first 2-week segment of the SCGFA 2023 and finishing 6th place overall with 20.78lb Chinook.

As the spring transitions into summer, we transition to the North Shore of Lake Ontario and we are offering trips from Bluffers Park Marina, until late September to early October.

The summer months are The Prime Season for big Chinook (king) salmon although we also catch Coho, Atlantic salmon as well as Rainbow Trout in the mix.

It is one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the summer! There are several categories of prizes and we are doing our best to get them!

All our guests are automatically registered for GOSD (Great Ontario Salmon Derby) for a chance to catch a big trophy Chinook salmon.

We are proud to have had several placements with the GOSD in the last several years including catching a rare 30.1 lb Tyee.

From early October, we are going back to fish the South Shore until the end of the season. We primarily target younger king salmon and rainbow trout with occasional brown trout caught in the mix.

All our guests are automatically registered for SCGFA Fall Salmon Derby and we share all the prizes.

As the fall season progresses and the lake cools down, we typically finish the season targeting walleye on the east end of Lake Ontario.
